Once again electric vehicles will be selected directly from main dealers and will require a minimum of a 20% upfront deposit. It is felt that by 2025 Electric vehicles will represent almost 25% of our total annual sales. As the electric vehicle car park grows across Ireland the impact, availability and choice will inevitably reduce the overall price of these vehicles and in turn reduce the deposit requirement.
Currently we are recommending that the customer remains somewhat involved in the choice of electric vehicle by visiting specific dealerships in order to test drive and understand areas such as range, cost, size and boot space and overall specifications. There are huge variances in range within the electric car market and we encourage customers to fully research and test drive prior to presenting their specific requests to us.
