Most cars sold carry the balance of a manufacturers warranty however, in other cases it should be noted that the sale is non-traditional, meaning you have not yet paid for your vehicle, a limited transitional ‘hand over cover’ warranty applies to you, up to and including your second payment. During this period, from today and until you execute your second payment a full warranty applies. If any issues arise, please contact your sales person.
Once your second payment has been made no warranty applies. However a policy of goodwill will apply up to and including your fourth payment. A goodwill policy means that the company will cover up to a maximum of 50% of any repair provided it is not driver error. Only one goodwill policy can be claimed to a maximum value of €800 inclusive of VAT. This is net of 50% discount.
In the event of a mechanical failure, that warrants remedial works to be carried out under any form of the above mentioned warranty cover, you are required to bring the vehicle back to our central office in Clonmel.
As we are not a motor dealership, please note that we do not provide courtesy, rental or relief cars. If your car is remaining on site for work over a number of days you will need to be collected and/or arrange alternative transport. In this case we recommend a daily rental from Europcar who are based in Clonmel where you can make an advance booking prior to arrival. Our staff can make arrangements to transport you to the Europcar centre for collection.
If you choose to not return the vehicle to Clonmel, you have the option to have the vehicle repaired locally, which we are happy to subsidise by 75% inclusive of VAT once the price is agreed.
Alternatively, if you choose neither of the above options you can attend our national service partners; Best Drive. They have 33 branches nationwide and, in most cases, (not all) work can be carried out locally and a rental car can be made available free of charge for 24 hours thereafter costing €35 daily.
